SYNERGY is a Houston, Texas-based contemporary artists’ group that has gathered monthly for more than 15 years to share lives, objectively critique art work, and support each other on their artistic journeys. Under the name of 10+Artists and now Synergy, the group has exhibited at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts, at Archway Gallery in Houston, and Northwoods Resh Gallery. These accomplished, award-winning artists have had numerous solo and group shows over the years, including local, national, and international exhibitions.
This show presents new ideas and directions that each artist is taking in their artistic journey. The challenge included the unusual size of the paintings, challenging each artist to take on the shape and create an interesting composition.

SYNERGY Artists:
Rose Bertus loves music and color. With a blank canvas or a piece of watercolor paper, she is inspired to put down the first splashes of color. As she works, the papers and paint lead her down a path of creativity, culminating in a piece that has unfolded with mystery and surprise. Rose is a Signature Member of Texas Watercolor Society, National Collage Society and ISEA.
