PLEASE READ ALL SAFETY PROTOCOL & PARENTAL CONSENT INFORMATION CAREFULLY   
ART SUPPLIES
  • All materials are included in the cost of registration.
  • Each student is provided with a sketchbook, pencil bag including a few drawing materials, and an apron. 
    • Each student is responsible for bringing his/her provided supplies to each class and taking them home after each session.
  • Shared materials will be sanitized between classes.
PROCEDURES
  • All students will enter through the front door of the museum where each person's temperature will be taken by an infrared scanner.
  • Unfortunately, we will not be allowing parents and other family members to wait in the museum foyer or in the classroom during class.
    • Feel free to visit the gallery and the museum store. 
  • All students and instructors will be required to wear a mask while in the museum facilities.
    • The museum is a county building. County mandates regarding COVID-19 must be followed. 
    • A mask must worn in the building at all times for anyone over age 2.
  • Students may bring in water bottles with a closable lid/cap, but no other food or refreshments are permitted.​ 
  • A plexiglass-shield unit will be set-up between every two tables. 
  • All students will be required to sanitize their hands upon entering the school before every class.
  • Parents should pick up students at the end of class from the main lobby. Parents can wait inside the lobby, or wait outside the entrance doors until they see their student. Please be mindful of social distancing while waiting for your student.
  • The museum staff will clean door handles, tables, and other high touch surfaces that are able to be sanitized between all classes. 
  • Class sizes have been reduced to maintain proper social distancing.
  • We are asking all staff and teachers not to come to work if they are showing cold/flu-like symptoms.
  • What parents can do:
    • Keep your child at home if they are showing cold/flu symptoms.
    • If a family member has been exposed or showing symptoms, we ask that you do not send your student to class.
  • Please talk to your child about healthy practices in regard to contact.
  • Handwashing facilities and sanitizers are readily available.
​Parental Consent:
  • By registering for a Pearl Fincher Museum School of Art class, I agree to accept the museum’s COVID 19 safety precautions, and I agree to hold harmless Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts should my child become ill. It is understood that participation in the Pearl Fincher Museum School of Art classes is at the participant’s own risk.
  • By registering I further agree and affirm that I, the student and/or my child has not been in close contact with an individual who has had a positive COVID-19 diagnosis with 14 days of each class attended and has not traveled to or from a geographic location requiring 14-day quarantine according to CDC guidelines.
  • I agree to communicate any change in this status promptly to School of Art administrators.

$5 suggested donation for adult visitors

CLOSED Sunday & Monday

Closed on Martin Luther King Day, Presidents' Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, 
Christmas, and New Year's Day
