STUDENT CLASSES
2021 Spring 2nd Session schedule will be posted and registration will open in February.

Until further notice, participants will be required to wear a mask the entire time they are in the building.
All classes are limited in size and offered in a socially distanced setting.
When children get a chance to express their creativity and dive into art, they develop confidence, increase their empathy and discover how to look at the world from different perspectives. All those skills help prepare students to take on the world with passion and creativity.

Treat your child, grandchild or friend to a gift of art!

See the Gallery page for a few of the exciting things going on in the student classes.

2nd Session - Classes start the week of March 22, 2021 and extend through the week of May 10, 2021.
Schedules will be posted and registration will open in February for the 2nd Session of 2021.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The class will focus on creativity and technique. Students will work with and create projects experimenting with different mediums including printmaking, mixed media, ceramics, acrylic paint, and watercolors. Students will learn fundamental techniques such as shading, proportion, texture and value.

In this class, there will be a good balance of drawing from imagination and drawing from observation. Drawing from imagination is very important at this age and teaching them a few art concepts that can be applied to their drawings will open their creativity and imagination. We teach drawing from observation and help students to “see” and notice details that will help them to translate it to paper. This class builds confidence and individual creativity in a guided but fun artistic environment.

Even though teachers are providing instruction for similar concepts, the projects taught will vary.

Registration is completed on a first come, first serve basis. In order to maintain the flow and size of each class, students will attend the same day each week for an entire session.

Registration includes all materials needed for a class.

Cell Phone Policy:
Students are expected to keep cell phones on silent and out of the work space.
