COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Pearl School of Art Adult Classes will focus on creativity and technique. Participants will work with and create projects experimenting with different mediums including printmaking, mixed media, ceramics, acrylic paint, and watercolors. Participants will learn fundamental techniques such as shading, proportion, texture and value.

In this class, there will be a good balance of drawing from imagination and drawing from observation. Drawing from imagination is very important at this age and teaching them a few art concepts that can be applied to their drawings will open their creativity and imagination. We teach drawing from observation and help students to “see” and notice details that will help them to translate it to paper. This class builds confidence and individual creativity in a guided but fun artistic environment.

Even though teachers are providing instruction for similar concepts, the projects taught will vary. Some classes will offer specialized concepts and media.

Registration is completed on a first come, first serve basis. In order to maintain the flow and size of each class, students will attend the same day each week for an entire session.

Cell Phone Policy:
Participants are expected to keep cell phones on silent and out of the work space.
