Student Art contest 2017
sponsorships

The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts is pleased to announce the 8th annual Student Art Contest. The contest is open to students between the 1st and 12th grades from twenty area private schools, homeschooled students, and one of seven area public school districts. In 2015, the SAC received 279 entries.

Once all entries are received, judges spend two days deliberating, eventually selecting four winners from each of the three categories: Elementary, Middle, and High School. Awards of art supplies and cash prizes are awarded to the top entries, and winning students are invited to attend a presentation and reception to celebrate their accomplishments. The 2016 reception will take place on May 1, 2016.

The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts Volunteer Guild is requesting your support for the 2016 Student Art Contest. Contributions will assist in covering the cost of awards for winning students, and for certificates of participation for those artworks that are chosen as Honorable Mentions. Our goal for the 2016 competition is to raise $6,600.00.

Please join us in our efforts to make the 2016 Student Art Contest the most successful yet. The Cypress Creek Fine Art Association (d.b.a. the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts) is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and as such all donations are tax-exempt to the full extent allowed by law. Our EIN is 20-0587953. Please do not hesitate to contact one of the SAC Co-Chairs, or staff at the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts for any questions, concerns, or to pledge your support.
