Pearl Book Club
The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts presents The Pearl Book Club. Every month we will meet to discuss a book handpicked to accompany our exhibits. Please contact the museum or visit this page for new month selections and meeting dates. We look forward to discussing with you!
Our first book of the month will be Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry and the meeting date will be October 21st from 1pm to 2pm. Come to meet new friends and have a fun discussion! Coffee and tea will be provided.
The novel Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry, set in the waning days of the Old West centers around the relationships between several retired Texas Rangers and their adventures driving a cattle herd from Texas to Montana. The novel contains themes including old age, death, unrequited love, and friendship.
