Art Start
Join us for our newest program! Art Start will introduce preschool-aged children to visual learning and creative expression in weekly sessions.

The class will consist of storytime and a related art activity. Each session is limited to 10 children, and is recommended for ages 5 and under.

Schedule:
Tuesdays at 10:00 am and 10:45 am.

RSVP is required by registering on Eventbrite. If the event shows it is sold out,  please call us at 281-376-6322 and we will add you if we have had cancellations. Registration is handled for each class individually; it is not required to attend all sessions.

Check out the March session schedule below, and stay tuned for more sessions!

September 5 A Moon of My Own
An imaginative young girl travels the world with her faithful companion, the moon, in an enchanted adventure across the seven continents that is marked by the moon's phases. Create a night sky illustration after.

September 12 The Leaf Thief
Squirrel loves counting the leaves on his tree, red leaves, gold leaves, orange, and more. But hold on! One of his leaves is missing! Make a leaf thief wreath.

September 19 Windows
Before your city goes to sleep, you might head out for a walk, your dog at your side as you go out the door and into the almost-night. Anything can happen on such a walk: you might pass a cat, or a friend, or even an early raccoon. Make a cardboard neighborhood.

September 26 Owl Sees Owl

This story follows a baby owl one night as he leaves the safety of his nest and explores the starry world around him. Create a fall owl ornament after.
