Join us for our newest program! Art Start will introduce preschool-aged children to visual learning and creative expression in weekly sessions.
The class will consist of storytime and a related art activity. Each session is limited to 10 children, and is recommended for ages 5 and under. Classes are held on Tuesdays at 10:30am and 11:15 am. RSVP is required by registering on Eventbrite. Registration is handled for each class individually; it is not required to attend all sessions.
Check out the January session schedule below, and stay tuned for more sessions!
January 4: Don't Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late! by Mo Willems
Pigeon uses a whole list of excuses as to why he's not tired. Slowly, he wears down and, as with most kids, falls asleep whether he likes it or not! Make a pigeon puppet afterwards.
January 11: Atticus Caticus by Sarah Maizes
Follow a young boy's furry friend through the course of a day in an infectiously rhythmic read-aloud for cool cats of any species. Make a crayon resistance art piece after.
