The Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts is pleased to open to the public with its inaugural exhibition, Frederic Remington and the American West: Selections from the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (Through July 3, 2008). This exhibition, as a part of MFAH Outreach Programs, is supported by the Hamill Foundation.

2008 Student Art Contest Winners Announced

On April 19, 2008, the winners of the 2008 Student Art Contest were recognized in an awards ceremony.  The theme of this year's contest was the flora and fauna of Cypress Creek.

Barnes & Noble Bookfair Benefiting the Pearl

The Pearl's first publication, Hush, Don't Say a Word: A Lullaby Book, will be featured in the Barnes & Noble Bookfair benefiting the museum.

Museum Family Day

Saturday, May 17, 2008  

The Pearl is pleased to present a museum family day on May 17, 2008, featuring the Equine Painter Lesley Humphrey. The museum will grant free admission to visitors from 10am to 1pm (museum hours are 10am-5pm).  There will be activities for children, including art projects and performances related to the current exhibition, Frederic Remington and the American West
